Animals tucked tight in hibernation are remembering what it means to navigate the world. The bees are back, and with them, they've brought the blossoms of spring. Though time and conflict have lessened the intensity of its celebration, hanami ( cherry blossom viewing ) is still a major event in many places. Humans and Yokai gather to herald in a chance for renewal, rebirth, and redemption. And while many places are graced with the pinkish-white blossoms of the cherry tree, there are three places that draw the biggest crowds.
MINDAS: The capitol was gifted with its own set of trees by Yosei diplomats a few decades back, and they have matured into a beautiful sight. While a few line the streets and residential areas, the biggest concentration in the center of the city. A patch of green flanked by trees is often littered with families and couples picnicking during the day, drinking during the night.
YYTS LAKE: Home of the biggest population of Yosei, it makes sense that the biggest and most beautiful trees would be found here. Hanami and the arrival of the cherry blossoms holds great significance for the nature spirits, and, while they mark the change of every season with great celebration, spring is the most beloved. You'll see them working hard to keep the trees pruned, watered, and cared for. Be cautious and respectful, and perhaps they'll let you stay and enjoy.
KRUAHX FIELDS: battling the Drynn Swamp to reach Eastern Atrela is a task many travelers are apt to avoid, but it's the only way to see the fields in bloom, and, well, -- it just might be worth it. As if blessed by the gods, the expanse of green is often painted strokes of red and blues and purples and whites. Flowers find home even through the roughest of weather. The cherry trees are no different. Scattered all the way from the edge of the swamp to Myrrka, it is properly a spring oasis.

i. In each board, there will be an event group thread. This thread is open for anyone and everyone to join. Hanami is a social event, so go out and mingle! (You can, of course, make other threads. Just label them [EVENT].)
ii. Each character can only be in one of the group threads because they're all occurring concurrently. Likewise, a character can only attend one Hanami celebration. You have to stick to whatever location you initially picked for event threads and shenanigans.
iii. There is a second -- more sinister -- half to this event. You'll have to have taken part in one of the group threads to be eligible to sign up for it. It doesn't matter how many posts you've made, just so long as you've established your character as there.
iv. There will be an official sign up thread for the second part posted later on so that those who don't want to be involved in the latter half can make that known.
v. Rewards for this event vary. Participation in the first half will net you 10 gems. Participation in the latter half will get you an additional 20 gems. Should your character be involved in both halves of the event, there is also potential for reputation points (both positive and negative) and a rank up (e.g. you start the event as rank E and leave it at rank D).
